Sally Hansen Strobe Light

This weeks post is a day earlier because I won't be able to get online tomorrow. Anyway, Here is one of my favorite glitter polishes. Its called Strobe Light and its from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear.

After a few days I decided to add a coat of Lightning Bolt crackle from China Glaze. I thought it looked pretty cool! :)

Also, you may have noticed I've changed my blog layout a few time recently. I'm just trying to find something I like enough to keep! :) Anyway, If you've got any comments about the new layout feel free to share!

Mini OPI Haul!

Well, its not Friday, but I was just too excited not to post! Yesterday I purchased my first three OPI nail lacquers. I got two from the On Stranger Tides collection and one from the Katy Perry Collection.

I picked up Skull & Glossbones and Mermaid's Tears from the On Stranger Tides collection as well as Last Friday Night from the Katy Perry Collection. They were all out of silver shatter (gahhh!), but there was one random bottle of Last Friday Night with all of the other polishes so I picked that up since I missed it when that collection first came out.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Skull & Glossbones and you can expect to see the other shades sometime soon! I love Skull & Glossbones! Its a crem "khaki" grey and its certainly glossy!

Newspaper Nails (Fail)

So, I finally tried doing newspaper nails and lets just say its not as easy as it looks! I have no idea how other bloggers get the text so perfect! Anyway, It turned out all right, and I really like the look of it. I used a Nicole by OPI's Moisture plus as a base coat and You Can! by Nicole by OPI.

Sally Hansen Blue it

Blue it is a dark blue polish from Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. It has a metallic shimmer and doesn't dry streaky at all! You can either do one thick coat or two regular coats. I love the color!

I decided to add a stripe diagonally across my nail and it turned out all right though not as nice as I wanted. The white is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On.

Pink & Black Striped Mani

This is another tape mani. The pink I used is Revlon's Strawberry Electric and the black is Black Out by Sally Hansen.

I used Two coats of Strawberry Electric and after it dried placed two pieces of tape on each nail in a v-shaped pattern. Then I used Black Out over the tape to create the striped look.

Both photos have two coats of Strawberry Electric, one coat of Black Out, no topcoat and no flash.
